Asante Kotoko head coach Eric Tinkler has bemoaned the many mistakes his players committed in their defeat to Aduana FC on Sunday.The Porcupine Warriors hosted the team from Dormaa at Baba Yara Stadium today, in their Week 4 fixture of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.On the matchday, a costly mistake from goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim gave Stephen Amankona the opportunity to give Aduana FC the lead very early in the game.Then late in the second half, Seidu Saana rounded off the Kotoko goalkeeper after a counter-attack, sealing a hard-fought victory for the visitors, who were forced to complete the clash with 10 men.Speaking in his post-match interview, Eric Tinkler expressed his displeasure with the performance of his team, arguing that they made things difficult for themselves.I think in the first half we committed mistakes. The goal we conceded was cheap. In the second half we had loads of chances, we had to take a lot of risks, but it just didnt work. We made things difficult for ourselves, the coach said.Tinkler added, But this is football. You are going to win some, and you are going to lose some. This is football.Following the win against Asante Kotoko, Aduana FC are now fourth on the league table with seven points, just one behind league leaders FC Samartex.Kotoko, meanwhile, are in 12th position with five points from their first five matches.
